One Less Thing To Worry About
Well i spent the whole of today working on a scene i had problems with previously
I re-filmed a scene that came out jerky after spending hours of masking it, and at last, after re-filming and re-masking it came out great and i got a few other scenes done
here is a shot from the scene i sorted out today

The video is on a stand still at the moment. Well really it's not, what i mean is that today i had to return the video camera which i should be getting back in a week or so. So in the meantime im just going to work on the footage i already have until the camera is returned.

Not Quite...
After spending a few hours today remasking the footage of the camera moving up and around the ship ready for launch. When i was filming it the camera wasn't steady and is quite jerky, but this is only noticable when the background is removed and then placed then a smooth moving background. Due to the way it has been filmed, i am going to refilm it in an attempt to make a smoother movement
Here is a screenshot of the footage. It isn't fully masked but its enough to see what it will look like in the final render

Masking...
Since my return from camping, this is what i have been doing...masking the video footage of a view moving around the ship before take off
i have been masking this footage for hours now and the result so far is quite dodgy. so i have to redo it all again but from a different approach. instead of masking the area outside the ship, il just mask the ship instead, I don't know if that makes sense to anyone so i have supplied some screenshots

New Found Love
I have a new love and I call it Adobe After Effects
This program is fantastic, some of the effects i have managed to get from this in my film have been amazing. some recent footage i done of the ship flying off into space is just fantastic, I even went back and touched up the previous scenes with new effects i had found.
Here is a screenshot of my work done today.

distractions...
well since downloading Battlefield2 demo, i have been heavily addicted to its online multiplayer game. I havn't been so impressed and addicted to a game in a long time, i will definatly consider buying it.
But because of downloading this game, i have been behind with my Lego S4A video. so I made sure i got alot done today. Today i have accomplised the scene where the ship takes off

i like how that scene has come out. The smoke that is shown was taken from an image of a chimney, by rotating the image 180 degrees and then distorting the image, it gives the impression that smoke is coming from the ship

Inside Action
Today I began with the filming inside the cockpit. The filming consisted of positioning the video camera on the tripod and removing some of the walls of the cockpit to get the up close shots i needed.
Since then, I put out the frames taking from the recording into Adobe Premier set it up as a Pre Visualisation. Once the timing was sorted I began with the lip synching. so far so gd
This is the cockpit model. The walls and the roof can be removed to create any shot I want

so much yet so little
well i have got my dads video camera now... but before i begin filming, i have begun to free up hard disc space by putting my work to dvd...
my videos are few but the filesizes r huge, so im having to go through each video and compressing them to fit on to dvd... looks like il be needed to buy more dvds to get everything on there. The important files are the videos i have made. Everything else i want to save to disc is a huge collection of muse videos and various bootlegs which may spread over 2 dvds.. il worry about it once i start to save them.
As soon as my videos are backed up (not including the muse vids) i shall begin with this lego movie, im going to be constructing the city thats shown at the beginning of the S4A video which leads onto showing the spacecraft ready for take off

Spacecraft images
Here are some images of the spacecraft.
like in the S4A video, the ship can break into 2, dumping the big rocket part attached to it to help it get into space

Lego S4A
I have decided to do a recreation of the Muse video 'Sing For Absolution'
The video consists of the band sat in a space ship, singing along to the song, with some shots of the ship flying around.
here are some images of what I have made so far
