Participo is a UK based consultancy and software practice. We use a hands-on, collaborative approach to help groups discover, learn and share their knowledge and ideas.

Recent projects:
Some of the projects we delivered over the last 12 months have been:
- Implemented an enterprise-scale wiki and blog-based collaboration and knowledge sharing platform for a major organisation's EU workforce
- A full service project delivering an agile, wiki-powered customer support platform for a large UK telco.
- Rapid installation and agile customisation of an enterprise wiki platform for a large Australian telco.
Research Areas:
As part of our client work and R&D, Participo focuses on developing 'social software' - ideas and applications that support our belief that groups of people work, learn and deliver real 'value' when given the freedom to informally collaborate and share their ideas and work through networked computing.

Software Applications:
Attention Management System
- A fully-managed SaaS application for organisations who need to deliver 'Learning LifeCycles' of content, product information and assess knowledge levels in realtime across highly distributed workforces of employees and outsource partners.
- Our biggest customer, with implementations in the UK and Australia, has served over 2.5 million responses from their employee and outsourced partners
Wiki frameworks
- We’ve come to regard a wiki as an Enterprise collaboration ‘Operating System’ - a baseline of collaboration functionality. On top of this ‘OS’ we have built multiple wiki framework; combinations of software and services, including:
- FeedBackLabs - Idea management framework to enable Open Innovation
- Questions - wiki framework to augment knowledge bases
- Stats Pack - detailed statistics framework for Confluence- enabling detailed reporting on collaboration efforts and successes.
We are also in the process of launching a startup; ThinkFold, a collaborative outliner web application that enables groups to collaborate on ideas, plans, presentations, tasks, writing, projects and well, pretty much anything that involves people and their brains!
