Good, high-level (exec summary?) write-up of a set of talks about Prediction Markets.
I like the low-complexity example of using a prediction market to suss out a release date:
“Todd Proebsting of Microsoft, in his case study, described a market he created to predict the validity of the testing schedule for an internal tool, which correctly predicted the extremely low probability of making the release date!”
That’s a rapid, fairly easy(?) way to use prediction markets to support fundamental business decision making…
