Hmmmm, very interesting. By way of Matt Jones, who ponders when video will be next. The main thing is not the bandwidth or the technology as such, but the fact, that very, very soon, everyone will be carrying around a device that enables them to record and as importantly, transmit visual recordings to the web for immediate global access. Think about that for a minute. This is going to be a shared conciousness moment. Of course the ol’ signal/noise and pareto effect will be in full force, but I think this has the power for significant social change…good and bad. The e-learning angle? Well, where do I start…?
