Google desktop is excellent (I tell clients to install it and crawl their shared drives as a quick knowledge management ‘upgrade’).
The Mac client released last week – it’s great. Feels faster than Spotlight, I like the bezel. Really like the blended list of results in Google style browser window
Actually, I’ve just uninstalled it – it’s indexing every few hours, and when it does pumps up the processor activity really high…don’t seem to suffer this with Spotlight.
Hmmm…I’m already missing it.
