HBS Working Knowledge: Innovation: Steve Jobs and Jeff Bezos meet the segway
Not much to do with the world of elearning, but a chunk of glamour doesn’t go amiss! Quite fun account of the meeting, which (suprise) Jobs dominates the meeting with phrases like:
“…”There are design firms out there that could come up with things we’ve never thought of,” Jobs continued, “things that would make you shit in your pants”…”
Also, Jobs dismisses a good ol’ linear PowerPoint presentation:
“…Before we start, we’d like to ask you to hold your questions until after each presentation.” “Yeah, right!” snorted Bezos, followed by that honking laugh. “Otherwise we might as well not be here,” said Jobs…”I can’t do that…I’m not built that way. So if you want me to leave, I will, but I can’t just sit here…”
Excellent. Ok, normal service resumes…
