Cool technologies brought together (wikis, blogs, IM)? Check. Groovy brandname? Check. Impressive list of advisory board members (i.e. marketing team)? Check, Check, Check!
Seriously though, this company looks like they’ve got a really cool product – although bizzarely I can’t seem to figure quite exactly what the product is – I mean, I can guess, but I would have thought some nice “xplane style visuals”:http://www.xplane.com would be needed for potential buyers?
I’m still slowly fighting the blog as project team tool battle – and the educational values of these collaborative tools are clear – in fact I’d be so bold as to say to organisations – invest in the tools to let your people interact and share vs. paying for force fed courseware -> you’ll get richer, more relevant skills transfer, discover hidden talents and retain staff longer.
How’s that for bold proclamations at midnight (after spending all day designing courseware :-)?
