A guy called Pete Barr-Wilson has a photoset on Flickr of working prototypes of the $100 laptop, also known as the OLPC (one laptop per child).
It’s a great idea, and the actual units are inspired. I’d personally love to get hold of one, and there’s a pledge to get the project to sell them at $300+ to fund the extra production into the developing world – i.e. buy one, give two for free!
