Well, I know it’s only been functional for a few days, but we are now three authors – Evan meet Paul, Paul meet Evan! Evan is a colleague in Baltimore – web designer and raconteur – Paul is a freelance web designer and racketeer in Bristol, UK.
Basically, you’re both designers, I think this site is pretty cool functionaly, but could do with tweaking by ‘experts’ such as your good selves.
So, ideas? Comments, please (see them embed in the page!), for example, I cannot get the google and related posts boxes to sit next to eachother – tried using floats, tables, spans inside a div etc, but to no avail…if you go see mock-up pages, you’ll see what I was aiming for.
Also, I’ve reduced the number of ‘recent posts’ in the category side-bars to 4, with an excerpt word length of 15 – look better? How many posts should be displayed on the main (home) page? At the moment it’s the last 7 days – I’m thinking a maximum of 15 posts?? And the layout could be better? Doesn’t feel easy to read at the moment…Comments (literally) please…
