personalworldmap.org is a lovely interactive and _shifting_ world map that adjusts its spacial orientation according to ability to travel…the land masses actually shift shape and proximity according to airfare value (African destinations move further away than Australian), distance or travel time.
I love stuff like this. TheThe Map Book looks rather nifty as well, and is on my xmas list (hint hint).
