Mobile metacritic?

Hey, i got an nice email from one of the Metacritic guys re. my comparison with Rotten Tomatoes…one thing that I really think Metacritic should do, is a decent mobile optimised version – at the moment, their offering is Vindigo and Avantgo, neither of which I have used for years.
Anyway, I mocked up a couple of ideas – I’m finding it easier and fun to think in mockups…here’s some of the email I sent – I know US companies get squirrely about getting sent ideas in case they get sued and stuff, so it’s worth repeating here, publicly; I’m sure they’ve been been working on this sort of stuff, so these mockups are only to illustrate my suggestions, as a customer request/suggestion…
I’ve got an always on, flat rate/cheap data tariff on a 3G mobile- and so have most of the people I know (across a stripe of demographics).
I’d love a pared down version in xhtml for my nokia – in the UK, I’m on a flat rate cheap data tariff, so I’m always using my ‘mobile’ to look up film info etc. – always trying to fend off my girlfriends spontaneous movie suggestions, or decide whether a book’s worth buying, etc…
Maybe there’s a revenue model for clickthroughs to amazon etc – I’m in a bookshop/dvd store/whatever, looking at a dvd, I want access the review – you give me that (only the best and worst review initially, so it fits well on a small screen), plus show me info that (as always) it’s cheaper on Amazon…I’d buy it on through my phone.
As I said, just informal suggestions in a visual way from a very satisfied (desktop) user who wants to be mobile!
