the power of television
Average Reading Time: less than a minute.
It’s 23.41pm, and I’m currently watching Channel 4 who are broadcasting a live dissection of a human body…fascinating, groundbreaking and superbly educational. here’s the site for the program:
Anatomy for beginners
It’s being presented in a very sober, educational way, which is commendable. I don’t feel remotely queasy, which surprises me as the strangely sinister German professor (who wears a trilby on top of his surgical scrubs outfit) is currently cutting through a heart with what looks suspiciously like a butcher’s knife.
And Channel 4 are now showing David Lynch’s Blue Velvet straight after it…as Evan just said: “nice segue”.
Titters aside, this would be fabulous for schools, I would have been so much more into Biology if we saw this instead of dissecting that poor old Frog.
