Interesting use of weblog for education…

Average Reading Time: less than a minute.

I was just reading Stephen’s Web ~ OLDaily, a educationl/e-learning weblog I’ve syndicated it with an rss feed on the right —>
I really like the way he handles further research from articles. At the end of each article (and he repeats this for his weekly e-mails), there are three links – [Refer][Research][Reflect], which enable you to respectively; forward, see very targeted associated info (other articles by author, topic and other OL articles) and finally, post a comment.
Now of course, you can do exactly the same here – related google search, and related particpo article post (although the refer is a little less elegant as it require pasting the permalink :-).
It’s always interesting to see how smart people do things that you’ve tried to figure out – and it’s waaaay smoother than here. Although stuff is still a click away. And his rss feed links point to the article he’s blogging about, not his article (which is annoying, but probably my rss feed config).
I’m quite pleased with the RSS feeds – I’m reading them more than the web – well, I did choose them I suppose!
