Reminds me of when I was doing user research in a client’s callcentre and having spent the last 10 minutes watching an employee use a collection of oblique apps, asked her what one thing would improve her working day, assuming she would want better tools, ability to customise, etc. “Daylight” she replied. “A window would improve my day.”
So maybe the table isn’t such a crazy idea. Unless callcentres (and a lot of offices are built long and narrow or in towers, getting proximity to a window will be difficult…
