Smashing Telly is a hand edited collection of the best free, instantly available TV on the web.
Another bloody good idea from David Galbraith (who was the 'other half' of moreover, the other half being Nick Denton of Gizmodo, etc. fame).
He's a smart guy - I particularly like the way he's taken his Wists site (which I'd previously dismissed as just another slick lists site) and turned it into the engine that powers a bunch of sites, the newbie being Oobject.
The Oobject site is classic ad-revenue content (in a good way); gadget demographic, but interesting, easy concept (top 10), high liklihood for viral growth ("mate, remmber that...") and dead easy/quick to 'consume'. I like it.
And Galbraith's take on social netwokr spam is spot on, and savvy, as is his view on the UK housing market.
