Fascinating lectures from the likes of Billy Bob Thornton, Baz Lurhmann
Really decent collection of long group sessions led by film-makers. Billy Bob Thornton's session is brilliant. He talks about managing actors. The lessons for managing creative teams works for less cool people like me. And he has great views on studio crap. Big lesson - "get the right people". Seems simple, right? Interesting take on directors, who I reckon are like very, very cool project managers, or rather very, very good project managers should be like film directors.
Anyway, watch - particularly the Billy Bob Thornton one, as it's just superb.
