iPlayer - finally an interface I can use.
iPlayer is brilliant - it lets me watch BBC TV at a schedule I choose, but it's interface is a pain in the ass - lots of pretty pictures, but programmes listed in splayed episodes, alphabetically...
iPlayerlist is a fantastic, highly usable interface for the BBC's iPlayer (which is appallingly designed) - finally I can browse actual series at speed.
And each programme page has links to to older YouTube clips, relevant blog posts etc.
The programmer's blog describes how he's used APIs, a bit of screenscraping and web kung-fu to pull it together.
Along with traintimes.org.uk, and well, the whole of MySociety's project such as TheyWorkForYou', another fab example of someone making public institution's websites a damn sit more accessible.
