37signals phasing out support for IE6
A BaseCamp message informed me that 37Signals are dropping support for IE6.
Good news. IE6 has personally cost me thousands in extra development efforts over the years - it's a non compliant nightmare.
Trouble is, the glacial pace of change in many corporate IT depts means that IE6, a seven year old browser is still the only way many office workers can access the internet.
One of Participo's key apps has an 82% IE6 usage rate. I don't see this changing anytime soon, unfortunately.
